The Associate of Science (A.S.) degree program in Computer Science is a statewide common curriculum designed primarily for students who wish to transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in computer science. The curriculum emphasizes programming, software design, study of algorithms, and data structures as well as computer hardware and architecture.
