AUB 127- Introduction to Collision Repair Technology

Introduces shop practices for auto body laboratory and shop safety, identification and use of hand tools, general power equipment and maintenance of auto body shop. Explains basic operation procedures, careers, terminology, estimating, and cycle time principles. Presents Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) standards and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations pertaining to the collision repair field. Student will complete the Inter Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) modules related to the major course topics.
